Chris and Sonni's wedding was a celebration of their favorite pastimes: west coast sailing, dining at their favorite Seattle restaurants and enjoying a craft cocktail with good company. They called upon Relay Restaurant Group, the restaurant owners who brought you Joule in Wallingford, to create an intimate restaurant experience for all their 100 guests at WithinSodo. Chef Rachel Yang was in the kitchen and she served up some of the couple's favorite dishes including Seaweed Noodles with Dungeness Crab and Red Curry, Korean Treasure Rice, and Chuck Short Rib Steak with Miso. Her drink was a Seoul Spritz made with cava, jujube, honey, and shiso, topped with a yuzu float. His drink was a Seattle Fashion made with bourbon, ranger syrup, angostura, and orange bitters.

Within Sodo provided the perfect industrial backdrop for C+S's bright, modern wedding. Guests sat at dark wooden farm tables with navy linen runners. The floral arrangements of were composed of bright sangria garden roses, marsala red dahlias and warm fall foliage to complement their late October wedding. Each place setting had crisp white menus with sailing charts and anchor details, black chopsticks, and copper flatware. When the evening was over, guests were surprised with a late night Seattle Dogs, provided by Chavoya's Hot Dogs.
